Our standard website projects start from around $4000.
FAQ – Websites & Care Plans
Depending on our workload a standard website typically takes around 4 weeks from beginning to end. For a service orientated website (like a Health Clinic) we allow anywhere between 8 & 12 weeks depending on the scope of the project. Deadlines work both ways and we do require clients to be responsive in providing content and images.
No, we can provide you with both domain names and hosting services. Even SSL Certificates!
We require a 50% deposit at the beginning of the project. Once you approve the design, you will pay 25%. The remaining 25% is due before site launch. We also have direct deposit payment plans available.
We offer AMAZING hosting via our Website Care Plans for a monthly investment of $199. These are not your usual care plans. They of course include all the usual monthly maintenance and updates, but the big difference is that you’ll get your own dedicated communication channel via Slack where you will have access to our entire team.
We like to think of your website like a car (think Mercedes Benz) and we are the qualified mechanic who takes care of your pride and joy. Now, like any car if it’s not serviced properly it’s only a matter of time before it breaks down and will end up being a costly exercise to bring back to life.
We have seen first hand the effects on business when a website is down for even half a day. That’s why we insist on a Care Plan, we want to see your website running at 100% all of the time.
No, you don’t have to host with Newcastle Creative Co, but we recommend finding a hosting provider that has WordPress optimized servers with quality support.
SSL stands for “Secure Sockets Layer.” It refers to the encryption of sensitive data when a customer logs in or makes a purchase online. These days it’s standard practise for your website to be secure. It will help with your SEO efforts, build trust with your website users and it deters hackers from encrypting malware on your site.
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. It refers to how visible your website is on the Internet, for instance how high it appears in a list of Google search results. A lot of SEO basic practises such as security, fast load times and good user experience are included when we set up your website.
But having an SEO strategy is whole other (long term) ball game. We can help you with that too!
There are a lot of factors that go into SEO. Firstly is your understanding of it. While we implement only the best practises for SEO onto your site, we cannot guarantee you’ll reach #1 in search results (and you should run from any developer that says they can guarantee this!)
Of course we will optimise your site to have the best chance possible and we do encourage our clients to seriously consider our premium SEO services which include both paid and content strategy. We also encourage our clients to produce quality content on a regular basis that will engage with your audience, which definitely helps.
That would be like riding a Moped into a Mercedes dealership and expecting to drive out with an S class. We build only custom WordPress themes because they provide the most tailored solutions for our clients.
FAQ – SEO & Content Strategy
Once you’ve contacted us or tested your SEO, we’ll analyse your site to determine what the most profitable areas of your SEO are to focus on. Depending on your situation and budget, we’ll work on strategies month to month.
Organic SEO is a long term strategy, which is why we recommend a minimum of 6 months on our packages. While there are some optimisations that can give instant results, most SEO takes around 3-6 months to get results.
Yes! Our SEO consultant is a pro at creating strategies for blogging and local content. We do know that you’re the expert in your field, so we generally work with our clients when writing web content.
However we can also help you find new keywords that have a high chance of ranking, and help with a local content strategy.
Our monthly SEO health monitoring includes:
-Monitoring your rankings for your primary keywords, traffic rankings & top pages
-Backlink monitoring and disavowing toxic backlinks
-Monitoring & fixing broken links, crawlability & any SEO errors
-Finding new backlink opportunities as they arise. As the business owner, it will be up to you to follow up on these opportunities (we can help you with a plan to do so!)
-Monitoring the accuracy of your online business citations. If we find any discrepancies, as the business owner it will be up to you to contact listings to request changes.
We can also send you a monthly report with details on the above.
FAQ – Google Ads & PPC
Due to the variables of every business (locations, services, team size, budget etc) our Google Ads management cost is determined after an initial Discovery Session. Our Discovery Sessions are $149, which will be discounted from your Google Ads set-up fee if you choose to use our service.
That being said, statistics show that the average Google Ad returns $2 for every $1 spent. So you’ll quickly make back your investment, and then some. It’s a no-brainer!
Your Ad spend is up to you, but we can make recommendations based off your business and our expertise. For example, for a one-location business with three service campaigns, we’d suggest $1,000 per month.
The best way to calculate your ad spend is to determine your average customer lifetime value. Then consider what acquisition cost you would pay for a client, as a percentage of that value. Then determine how many new customers you could handle in a month. Times the acquisition fee by the desired customers and that’s your monthly ad spend!
That’s fine! But there’s a reason why you’re looking at this page. Perhaps you have a sneaky suspicion that your return on investment could be much higher? In many cases, this is true. Because many people THINK Google Ads are easy. But we have come across account after account full of competing keywords, terrible targeting and unoptimised campaigns.
Our first step is to listen to your goals in a discovery session and then assess your Google Ads account in light of these targets. We can then give you a better idea of if your suspicions are correct and how we can help.
‘Guarantee’ is a word that hides a lot of expectations. What we do guarantee is a Google Ads account that is optimised to convert clients. However, the results will vary depending on ad spend, spend distribution, your services, reputation, demographic, population, expectation etc. If you’re a one-location clinic in a small town you cannot expect the same results as a multi-location clinic in a large city. We aim to bring in new clients on a consistent basis that your business can sustain.
Although Google Ads is one of the fastest online marketing platforms to get results on, there is still a ‘learning’ period in which the Google algorithm indexes your ads. Google states that this learning period is approximately 7 days. After the 7 days we will optimise the copy, keywords and targeting of the ad.
The process of launching, optimising, and waiting on Google to learn the ads generally takes up to 1 month, after which you will begin to see more accurate results. However, the longer you optimise your ads the better your campaigns will be, so we suggest that the most accurate results are seen after 3 – 6 months.
We offer Google Ads management and strategy in 6 month blocks. This is so that there is adequate time to properly optimise your ads and keywords, and drill down on your targeting. We have found that only after 3 – 6 months can you begin to see proper consistent growth of leads who will usually become lifetime clients.
You can. But before you do, you need to ask yourself whether your time can be better used elsewhere. On average, a good Google Ads account needs about 2 – 3 hours of managing per week. And that’s if Google hasn’t changed their algorithm and you have to optimise accordingly. That’s time that can be used to nurture new clients, train team member, launch a new business, hang out with your kids… you get the point.
In our experience, unless you have either been doing it for a while, have been trained by an expert, or you have tonnes of spare time to research, it’s not worth it. The amount of unoptimised accounts with “fake conversions” and keywords that are wasting money is mind-boggling.
FAQ – Courses
For this course you’ll need to have access to make changes on your website. Some other programs you’ll need access to include Google My Business, Google Analytics and Search Console. However if you don’t currently have access to them, we can work it out during the course.
Nope! The SEO for Local Business course is designed to be all-in-one, meaning you won’t need to purchase any other SEO tools to complete it.
In some lessons, we do look at some paid options that make SEO a little easier, however they’re not compulsory to have and it’s up to you whether you’d like to invest in them.
No problem! This course is designed for those that have no previous web or SEO knowledge, and we steer clear of overly technical implementations that involve coding.
We have a support system where you can submit a ticket if you need help. We’ll get back to you quickly and are here to answer questions or offer help if you need it!
Each lesson will have a video tutorial that will address theory as well as practical SEO implementations. We like to explain why certain SEO factors are important, share some facts and figures and then show you how to implement those changes too.
Some lessons will also contain notes & worksheets to help you out.
SEO is dependant on a huge number of factors, including how well your competitors are doing. For this reason we cannot guarantee you’ll hit that number 1 coveted position (and neither will any other SEO expert)!
In saying that, our strategies are tried and tested to improve your SEO presence. Just like training for a race, SEO is an ongoing process where the more ‘workouts’ (or optimisations) you can do, the more likely you are to ‘win’ (or outrank your competitors)!
Organic SEO is a long-term strategy. This means it can take anywhere from 3-6 months before you see results from your efforts. In saying that, you may notice some quick wins if you are able to implement some lessons straight away.
We recommend taking note of your rankings in Google Analytics and local search before starting the course, so you can assess how far you’ve come!
