For this course you’ll need to have access to make changes on your website. Some other programs you’ll need access to include Google My Business, Google Analytics and Search Console. However if you don’t currently have access to them, we can work it out during the course.
Nope! The SEO for Local Business course is designed to be all-in-one, meaning you won’t need to purchase any other SEO tools to complete it.
In some lessons, we do look at some paid options that make SEO a little easier, however they’re not compulsory to have and it’s up to you whether you’d like to invest in them.
No problem! This course is designed for those that have no previous SEO or code knowledge. You may be required to copy & paste code, but that’s all.
We have a support system where you can submit a ticket if you need help. We’ll get back to you quickly and are here to answer questions or offer help if you need it!
Each lesson will have a video tutorial that will address theory as well as practical SEO implementations. We like to explain why certain SEO factors are important, share some facts and figures and then show you how to implement those changes too.
Some lessons will also contain notes & worksheets to help you out.
SEO is dependant on a huge number of factors, including how well your competitors are doing. For this reason we cannot guarantee you’ll hit that number 1 coveted position (and neither will any other SEO expert)!
In saying that, our strategies are tried and tested to improve your SEO presence. Just like training for a race, SEO is an ongoing process where the more ‘workouts’ (or optimisations) you can do, the more likely you are to ‘win’ (or outrank your competitors)!
Organic SEO is a long-term strategy. This means it can take anywhere from 3-6 months before you see results from your efforts. In saying that, you may notice some quick wins if you are able to implement some lessons straight away.
We recommend taking note of your rankings in Google Analytics and local search before starting the course, so you can assess how far you’ve come!
